Visit The Alpe-Adria-Trail
The Alpe Adria Trail is a long waymarked hiking trail leading
from Grossglockner in Austria,
crossing Slovenia, and continuing all the way
to Trieste and Muggia on the Italian Adriatic coast. The trail, developed in collaboration between
Austria, Slovenia and Italy, was conceived as a new sustainable tourism product of the Alps-Adriatic region. The aim of the Alpe Adria Trail project, which is to be further developed over several years, is to create the leading hiking tourism product in the Alps-Adriatic region.
The three partner organizations behind the Alpe Adria Trail project – Carinthia's Kärnten Werbung, Turismo Friuli Venezia Giulia, and the SPIRIT Slovenia, Slovenian Public Agency (former Slovenian Tourist Board) – will present the newly developed Alpe Adria Trail on the Alpe-Adria: Tourism und Leisure Show.
